Introduction
A community-based non-profit organization that offers a range of non-competitive sports for boys and girls from 3 to 15 years. In recent years, they have also started selective competitive soccer, baseball and basketball leagues. Coaching consists of some professionals, but the majority of coaches are volunteer parents. AKS has two offices; one on each side of the river in Pudong and Puxi, but divide their sports activities into three areas – Puxi Gubei, Puxi Minhang, and Pudong. The extensive list of activities includes mainly team sports like basketball, soccer and baseball; however they also offer activities like ballet and swimming.
