Shanghai Railway Station

There are two train stations in Shanghai, this one, known simply as Shanghai Station, and a gleaming new one much farther south, known as Shanghai South Station. Most (but not all) trains to the west and the north -- Nanjing, Beijing, Xi’an, Suzhou -- depart from this, the Shanghai Station, while most southbound trains -- Hangzhou, Huangshan, Fujian, Guangdong -- leave from Shanghai South Station.
